Journey to the Mexico/Belize border to a small fishing town called Xcalak. Known for being a world class permit fishery and the only place in the world where you can catch them on dry flies. Drifting a floating crab past a cruising permit is a rush!

While permit snag the headlines, Xcalak is home to some awesome Tarpon fishing as well. The bonefish opportunities are also excellent and it's not uncommon to hook 10+ from a school in a matter of minutes.

Fish the beach, the flats, the reef or the lagoon, there's something for everyone and every weather. The all-inclusive luxury beachfront lodge is the perfect place to unwind after a day on the water.
